Eldercare Home Health Inc.

At Eldercare Home Health we specialize in providing services to the elderly. We offer solutions that help elders stay happy, independent and safe in their own homes, Retirement Homes, Nursing Homes and Hospitals. We start by providing a no - charge in - home assessment conducted by one of our qualified Registered Nurses.

Our holistic approach means you benefit from a solution that completes the care picture.

Our service starts with the RN assessment and includes a medication review, creating a care plan, accessing and coordinating supportive services and scheduling caregivers. Our caregivers assist with bathing and personal care, provide companionship, help with meal preparation and assist clients with all activities of daily living (ADL). We can also arrange for Physiotherapists and other professionals to provide assessment and treatment as required.

At Eldercare Home Health we work in cooperation with your client's doctor, their pharmacist and government agencies. Our staff have the knowledge, skill and commitment to provide the highest level of senior care. And of course we provide the expertise of a Registered Nurse to supervise all care.

A service for seniors by a specialist in Gerontology

Eldercare Home Health was founded by Lisa Wiseman. Lisa is a Registered Nurse with a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
from the University of Toronto. Lisa's focus of study was Gerontology, the study of ageing.

Lisa started Eldercare Home Health because she and her colleagues in Gerontology recognized the need for a home health care provider that would take a holistic approach to providing Elder Care and specialize in caring for the unique needs of the elderly.

Early in her career Lisa worked as a home care nurse and as a front - line nurse in some of Canada's foremost geriatric hospitals.

She has worked in management at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and The Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care, two of Canada's leading centres for geriatric care.

Lisa has also been involved with the Regional Geriatric Program. This program coordinates the services of hospitals to better provide senior care.
